About Us
Hi there! My name is Debby Bevan and I am the founder and owner of Birthday Buddies, Inc. I started my company 18 years ago because I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom for my growing kids, but at the same time, I wanted to work. Running Birthday Buddies, Inc., a home-based business in the early years, was the perfect solution for me. Birthday Buddies, Inc. operates daily, Monday to Sunday, from 9a.m-8p.m., so you can always reach me. In the early days, I would dress up in character costumes myself to entertain kids. There is nothing more rewarding then being able to delight little kids and see their smiles. Over time, the company grew and expanded to include many costumed characters and clowns. We are continuing to grow each year. All the talented people who work for me are either moms and/or teachers. It is very important to me that parents feel reassured that their children are in safe hands. In addition to birthday parties, we also provide great entertainment for communions, baptisms, bar/bat mitzvahs, block parties, fairs, festivals, office parties, picnics and holiday celebrations in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey region.Even though Birthday Buddies, Inc. is first and foremost a business, I am a great believer in contributing to my community. To this end, we frequently visit sick children in area hospitals such as Children's Hospital, St. Christopher Hospital etc., hoping to bring some cheer to these special kids. Moreover, I frequently donate my costumes to various childcare facilities, schools and hospitals. Giving to the community gives me a wonderful feeling!
